Benefits include:
- Restoring strength and function to broken or worn-down teeth
- Improving appearance by matching the colour and shape of nearby teeth
- Preventing further damage, infection or shifting of surrounding teeth
- Supporting chewing and speech, so you can eat and talk comfortably again
- A durable, long-term solution, often lasting 10+ years with good care
With crowns and bridges, we don’t just fix teeth — we rebuild confidence

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the process?
Once the plan is agreed upon:
- For crowns: we prepare the tooth, take digital scans, and fit a temporary crown
- For bridges: we prepare the supporting teeth on either side of the gap
- Your final crown or bridge is custom-made by our dental lab
- You’ll return for a final fit and cementing once it’s ready (usually 1–2 weeks later)
What’s the difference between a crown and a bridge?
A crown covers and protects a damaged or weakened tooth. A bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth by anchoring to the teeth on either side.
Are crowns or bridges noticeable?
Not at all. Our modern restorations are custom-shaded to match your natural teeth, and most people won’t be able to tell the difference.
Does it hurt to get a crown or bridge?
No — the procedure is done under local anaesthetic and is very comfortable. You may feel some mild sensitivity afterwards, but it’s short-lived.
How long do they last?
With good oral hygiene and regular dental care, crowns and bridges can last 10–15 years or more.
Are they covered by health insurance?
Many private health funds offer partial cover. We’ll provide a detailed quote so you can check with your insurer.
